MUSE FLEUR HOME & GARDEN Holiday Issue 2025

One of the joys of the holiday season is visiting local Christmas tree farms, it's an adventure the whole family can enjoy. The scent of pine needles and freshness in the air.  Wandering throughout the trees thrills me and the glee of a child's excitement when they have found their favorite holiday tree.

Planning a winter wedding ?

Farms, vineyards, flower fields and orchards make a beautiful option for hosting a venue on your special day.
Farm weddings are naturally joyful environments. Exchange your vows overlooking fields of wildflowers and grazing animals; Picture cocktail hour beneath the exposed wood beams of a barn. And what better than a farm-to-table dinning experience than actually being on the farm itself? Make it a destination wedding, hosting your out of town guests.

Winter Preparedness + Holiday Guests

Let it snow, let it snow, let snow!
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, firewood neatly stacked beside the stove.
Clean sheet and towels laying out on the bed.
A food pantry brimming with holiday cheer.
Check, check all prepared.
Image my surprise when I was calling the delivery person in a panic for more beverages and meals.
Oh my! Thanks to Saint Nick. Don't forget to tip the driver.
And pre-schedule upholstery, carpet and housecleaning after all the holiday cheer.

Old-World Christmas Ornaments

These exquisite gems are absolutely stunning. Something to treasure, gift  and collect as an air loom for generations to come. One of my favorite merchants of fine European glass  is  Christopherradko.com

Nothing says your special than custom gift wrapping made with care.  Pick up some inexpensive craft paper and decorate your gift package with pine leaves, pine cones and twigs collected from your nature walk. Add some cinnamon sticks, dehydrated orange slices and apples. And finalize your gift wrapping with a hand written personalized message.

Holiday Gatherings

If the kitchen is the heart of the home, then homecooked meals are the gathering place for family and friends to break bread and share a meal.
The importance of togetherness and sharing a meal.

Friends Of The Farm

Animals and family pets are such dear friends. They protect us, love us unconditionally, and support our wellbeing.
They offer milk and cheese, compost for our gardens, and wool to keep us warm.

Meat is optional.

Human Grade Home Cooked Meals For Your Dogs

I began making human grade food for my dog some time ago and he loves it.
Simple, pure whole foods. Yes, my dog eats meat, he's not vegetarian and neither Am I completely. I'm naturally moving towards it. Because of my love for animals and it just makes sense with the cost of meat theses days.
Be sure to check if your dog has any allergy and use only dog safe approved ingredients.
My pooch loves chicken (olive oil only) broccoli and sweet potato over wheat rice, and scrambled eggs dotted with a few blueberries. It last about three - four days refrigerated.
